So Sanguinary.. isn't really working out. Raids starting at 9pm are definitely good, but ending at 1am.. not so much. I think 8-830 is still my ideal raid start time, with 12 the ideal finish time (or earlier! :D). My daughter has just started school, so I have to get up early Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, which means late night raiding on Sunday/Monday is no good for me anymore. Sanguinary has only been doing Ulduar on Wednesday & Thursday nights, and 25man Naxx on Monday nights, purpose being to gear up people for Ulduar. They are very pushy about people only bringing mains to the Naxx runs so that they can smash through it fast, which didn't end up happening the one time I went (I declined the invite to the one this week, using the excuse of computer issues, which is partly true). I really don't want to be obliged to go to Naxx anyway, I've done it so many times that I hate the place (apart from Heigan, which is always fun :P) and I'm not gonna get any upgrades from there.
Also.. the Ulduar raids with Sanguinary are painful. Horribly painful. I joined the guild thinking that I would be the only disc priest & was looking forward to a refreshing absence of holy pallies. So I was slightly horrified when I turned up for my second raid with them and saw three holy pallies and another disc priest in the raid group. Do these people not understand that holy pallies & disc priests are tank healers & ideally you should only have two of them? I suggested I go holy for the raid, and was told to stay disc. Cue much eyerolling. We proceeded to wipe on XT several times, and I just respecced anyway. Nobody actually noticed until later when somebody posted the heal metre, and the raid leader (or someone, in this particular raid there was nobody really "leading") said "oh, you're holy". >.> I rock that heal metre as holy. xD
I was impressed when we managed to down Auriaya, using a very bad and drawn out strat (only just beat the timer). Auriaya is as far as the guild has gotten through Ulduar. We made several attempts on Thorim, which failed miserably. I asked the other disc priest to help me shield spam in the arena, they ignored me. I tried to give suggestions on what we could do to improve our strategy (for starters, more healers in the tunnel than out in the arena is a terribad idea), I was ignored. This pissed me off. I don't mind being in progression runs, in fact I really enjoy them, but not when I can see that we're doing stuff obviously wrong & when I point it out I'm flatout ignored, and we continue to wipe over & over with the same bad strat.
I had PC issues last week (overheating & switching off in the middle of boss encounters), and hence couldn't raid, which was refreshing. I played around with my alts & had much more fun than I would have had in Raid of Badness. I think I decided then that I want to go a bit more casual for a while. I'd still really like to raid occasionally (I'd love to see a Yogg kill & try some hardmodes) but not so scheduled, and preferably not with bads.
Meanwhile, I'm having so much fun with my alts. Dollfase the mage is currently level 71 and questing in Borean Tundra. She's cute, she looks like a little bee on her yellow & black striped mechanostrider. xD Mages are a pretty powerful class I've found, but a bit boring to level. All I do really is spam frostbolt. :P
Zkay the DK (named after my DK friend from Cabal, Tkay) surprised me by being extremely fun to play. I adore playing her cos she smashes through everything so fast! :D And for once I don't have to run & hide from horde, lol. :P I'm still bad at PvP but at least I have a fighting chance now. ^^; The playstyle is so different from other classes I've played (casters), which makes her more fun & interesting. I kinda wanna tank on her. :D At the moment she's level 70 & in Howling Fjord.
I'm levelling mining & jewelcrafting (both around 350-375 currently) on Zkay. While levelling mining in Nagrand I noticed I was getting a lot of Kurenai rep killing ogres in the caves, and after I finished levelling mining in the area I decided to continue on for a bit & get to exalted. I got Zkay her tan talbuk today. xD On Dollfase I'm doing herbing & alchemy (I've got her herbing up but haven't invested much time in alchemy yet). I spent a huge amount of money levelling Zkay's jc. >.> But hopefully I will eventually turn it into a profitable profession. I made a lot of money levelling inscription on Panacea recently, farming all the mats myself. I'm still saving for Panacea's epic flyer so she can farm herbs faster.. but after the amount I spent on Zkay's jc it's gonna take a while I think. :(
p.s. in other news, I broke up with Damager. We're still friends. :) He's going to take a break from the game I think.. boo. :(

Naxx tonight was a little bit fail. We didn't have our full regular core group - we had Xan (hunter, Death's aunty, my friend from Spirits of the Moon) with us, and a DK from the guild who was in Naxx for the first time. We got Arachnid down alright, but then did Construct and wiped on Grobbulus numerous times - many times when he was on under 5%, which was really annoying. I do not like that thing that DKs do which looks a lot like the poison clouds. >< We started a bit late also.. the raid was called at around 11:30pm. Not sure if we'll go back tomorrow, as Kitty has to work in the evening, so we might continue on Monday.
Panacea is level 77 now & has her cold weather flying. I'm enjoying questing in Zul'Drak at the moment, cos I'm up to quests that Panadoll never did. But, Panacea's dps is so crappy. -_- I did a couple of instances (Old K & DTK) with guildies, and my dps was always on the bottom of the metre - above heals but below the damn pally tank.. so embarrassing. -_____- I always topped metres doing heroics on Panacea at 70, so I am not used to this failness..
typical dps in 70 heroics ~

dps now :( (I only overtook that DK right at the end, because he went afk for a bit) ~

I blame crappy Northrend greens. Too much haste, not enough hit & crit. I replaced my FSW robe a while ago and I'm not quite sure if I should have.. maybe I should have kept it for the set bonus. The only reason I still have my shoulders and boots is because the gems make them better than any of the upgrades I've come across. I do want to get rid of them soon though so that I can drop tailoring and pick up herbalism (to go with her inscription) since you can't wear them if you don't have shadoweave tailoring. :-/

Panadoll has started including more dailies in her daily tour of Northrend, namely Knights of the Ebon Blade dailies in Icecrown. I only recently discovered that Ebon Blade has a rather nice healing belt that I want (need Exalted to get it), so I finished up the small quest chain to start the dailies. There are 6 of them, and a lot of the mobs you need to kill drop frostweave cloth and greens, which is great for my finances/tailoring/enchanting. I'm making over 200g a day from dailies now, which is not too shabby. Meanwhile I've only just discovered the awesomeness of armor vellums. Why did nobody tell me about these before?? lol. So much enchanting mats wasted before now. ><
Bored in the evening (Yuge got into a h UK group) I logged over to Panacea and pottered around a bit. Questing is less annoying because I know all the quests and I'm just doing whatever ones I come across that are fun, since I'm not going for quest achievements, but they're a little boring as well. So I decided to go to UK. Xan from SotM came along (she's 76 now) and we pugged the rest - a ret pally, a t6 geared shammy healer, and a little 70 DK tank who admitted at the start that they didn't have much tanking gear. Awesome heals made up for that though, even though the shammy was a bit full of himself. Panacea got an upgrade to replace her Kara helm & a nice quest reward ring. And omg. I've missed dpsing instances. >< Sooo much less stressful. The DK wasn't too bad with the dps either, and I was second after him on the dps metre. I think I'm actually much better at dpsing than healing, at least in 5-mans.. and I enjoy dpsing 5-mans so much more. But I far prefer healing in raids, so.. beh. I <3 both my priests. ^_^

So things with Panadoll have settled down into a comfortable routine of dailies - Wyrmrest, Kalu'ak, Oracles (just switched over from Frenzyhearts after I got their dailies achievement), Sons of Hodir - followed by levelling professions and a normal instance. Yuge and I just need to do Utgarde Pinnacle, Oculus and CoT Stratholme for the Northrend Dungeonmaster achievement. I'm looking forward to getting the achievement because then I will be able to learn the tailoring pattern for the Wispcloak, which is an awesome epic healing cloak.
Professions are progressing pretty well.. the other day I sold off heaps of enchanting mats that I don't use anymore, and made about 600g. I promptly spent it all on levelling my tailoring and enchanting. I managed to make myself a couple of tailored upgrades, and learnt patterns for an epic frost resist set which may come in handy in the future. I can now make a Magnificent Flying Carpet, though I'm still getting the mats together for it. I can also make Ebonweave, Moonshroud and Spellweave, which is fun - I like going down under Icecrown Citadel to make the Ebonweave. xD It seems that tailoring specs have carried through - Panadoll is PMC specced, and was able to make 2x Moonshroud and only 1 of the others. Meanwhile, levelling enchanting is hard. :( I'm over 420 now, but I can't wait to get to 430 so I can buy the really good enchants from the shard vendor. ><
Anyways, since I'm not going flat out with Panadoll anymore, I've been playing around with Panacea a bit. :) Guildies seem glad to see me back, which is gratifying. ^_^ I took Panacea to Borean first, levelled her to 71, then headed to Howling Fjord. I'm not hanging around zones this time around to finish quest achievements.. instead I'm just doing all the quests I find the most fun. :) I'm also not levelling Panacea's professions right now. This is because I want to drop her tailoring and pick up herbalism again instead, to go with her inscription. But I don't wanna drop tailoring until she's out of her FSW set (because she can't wear it if I drop it now). In other Panacea news I changed her hair colour from black to white - same hairstyle (cos I love that hairstyle). I also changed her horns from the delicate turned down ones to the delicate pointy ones. The changes are taking a bit of getting used to.. I forget about her hair colour when she's in shadowform so it keeps surprising me when she pops out, lol :P

Yesterday was a busy day.. In the morning, Panadoll ran heroic BM with my brother and his friend (Hannika and Soffscia). It was my first ever heroic. Panadoll went as DPS, lol. xD It was ridiculously easy. :P Then afterwards, Panacea ran heroic Slabs with them, which was also ridiculously easy.. we 4-manned most of it. :P I am quite liking these nerfs! Gives me more of a chance to see content & loots. :D
Verd was getting a Kara group together after that, so I joined up. We had the whole group together & summoned, but we couldn't zone in to Kara.. all the instances were down, which meant everyone got stuck trying to get through the portal. This had also happened earlier when we'd been doing the heroics, but the instance servers came back up after a while. The Kara group stuck together for a bit hoping the instances would come back up, but eventually fell apart. I got my Swamp of Sorrows and Blasted Lands exploration achievements done, then headed back through the Dark Portal. :P
There was horrible, horrible lag in the afternoon. This lag really did not like my mind flay and mind blast spells for some reason. Still, I had to go do my Isle dailies, so I persisted through the lag to get them done. If I didn't know better, I'd swear the Horde wasn't lagging at all. -______-; After the dailies, I headed over to Nagrand to farm up the last of the primal waters I needed for my FSW robe, then flew over to Terrokar to gather the last of the netherweb spider silk I needed. Then - finally! - I made my Frozen Shadoweave Robe!! :DDDDD
( screenie of the making under here )
yeh I did actually stop right there, among the spiders, to make the robe as soon as I got the last of the mats :P Anyways, Panacea looks like this now :)

I took her to the Dark Portal to take pics of her in her FSW set, like I did when Panadoll got her PMC set (hence new icon ^_^). Panacea doesn't seem to like having her picture taken as much as Panadoll though.. maybe she feels naked out of shadowform :P
Later on in the evening I logged onto Panadoll to do her Skyguard dailies. I wasn't planning to do much else (cos it was late), but after I'd finished them I got kinda caught up in doing exploration achievements.. in the end, I finished up all of the Outland exploration achievements, and got all the Outland Hallow's End candy along the way, and went to bed way too late. xD

Yesterday I got Panacea's tailoring up to where I could spec shadoweave, and managed to make her Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders (by buying up many primals & a couple of shadoweaves :P). They look pretty good. :D
crappy screenshots, and you can't really see them due to shadowform goodness, but you get the idea ~

I took the second one when I went over to Feralas earlier tonight to level up my cooking & fishing.. just cos I took a screenshot of Panadoll in the same place when she was running to help Panacea back in the day (in this post) :P
I want to get my FSW set together asap, cos I know having it will be the best chance I'll have for Panacea to do Kara before WotLK hits. :P With my two 70 toons and their hard working bank alts I have a lot more monies now, so it shouldn't be too hard to get the set together.. I foresee the buying of many primals. ><
Panacea went to Mana Tombs last night. I'd never been there before, and it was easy & fun. :) There were two guildless peoples in the group, so I invited them to SotM.. ended up being almost a guild run. :P
( screenshot from Mana Tombs )
Tonight I had a plan to go over to CoT, do the following-around-and-hearing-CoT-story bit, then try to find a group for Durnholde while levelling my fishing and cooking in Feralas. Unfortunately nobody was interested in doing Durnholde tonight apparently. I put myself in LFG for Sethekk Halls as well, but nobody seemed interested in that either. :( Eventually (rather quickly actually :P) I got sick of fishing, hearthed and headed over to Nagrand to grind ogres for Kurenai rep and be on the lookout for Halaa raiding (I want the black war talbuk for Panacea). Horde picked on me as I was trying to grind ogres. :( Some level 68 tauren attacked & killed me while I was killing ogres, then when I ressed, killed him and camped him in annoyance he called in a netherdrake mounted 70 undead rogue to prevent me from doing anything productive at all. >< It was about this time though, that someone finally invited me to a group for Sethekk Halls. We had a lot of trouble finding a tank (as per usual, arrgh) but finally Yuge said he would tank for us, even though he was in line to tank Sunwell (*infinite thanks to Yugeeee*).
I enjoyed Sethekk Halls very much. It was my first time there also. I really liked being able to do some CC (shackle, yay!) and I got some quests done. Was fun. :) I still really want to do Durnholde though.. and I'm not quite sure of the next instance I should focus on.. maybe Mech or Slabs or something..

My friend, who I sent a trial key to recently (in order to get funky zhevra mount), has installed a retail copy of the game and created a toon on my server yesterday. :D His warlock's name is Pinkdrink - a female gnome with pink pigtails, like Yuge. Yuge and I both (seperately) went to meet him in the Dun Morogh starting area to show off our mounts and a whole heap of emotes. :P Later on I met up with him (he had moved on to Kharanos) to give him some gifts.. four netherweave bags and 50g. I'm not sure if he really appreciated the value of the bags and the gold, but I like helping out. :) I also later sent him a few low level crafted items - warlock appropriate tailored stuff and a couple of wands. He seems to be liking the game so far. He's used to playing EVE Online, so although he's familiar with MMORPGs, WoW is all new to him.. I've been giving him a lot of advice. I sort of can't wait to run him through VC. :3 I also can't wait for my zhevra mount! He will have to pay for 2 months of subscription time before I get it.. but I have sent him a 60 day prepaid card so it should happen soon. :)

I got an opportunity yesterday to take Panadoll through Caverns of Time - Durnholde and Black Morass. I was really nervous, because two of the best holy priests in Twelve, Lutzi (on his lock alt Fuzo) and Konstantine (on her druid alt Bahedrin) were in the group. So much pressure not to do anything stupid! >< Yuge tanked for us. We were all on Vent, which was interesting.. I haven't been on Vent in a 5-man before. It was pretty relaxed. :) Durnholde went well, but afterwards I discovered I hadn't talked to Thrall in the dungeon, and therefore didn't complete the quest chain to allow access to Black Morass. So embarrassing. >< Yuge, Lutzi and Konstantine were fine to go do Durnholde again but the mage (Magpie, also in Twelve) sounded kinda pissed off and said he had to leave, so we found a random rogue to join us.
Waiting outside Durnholde the second time around, with Yuge :P ~

( screenshot from Durnholde )
The second time around went well also. It was a little difficult trying to keep an eye on healing Thrall as well as the others, but nothing I couldn't manage. Black Morass was something different altogether. Afterwards I said to Yuge "Why did nobody WARN me??" It was crazy. Constant running & chain pulling, constant need for heals and dispelling - on both the tank and druid off-tank. Lucky I brought lots of pots too cos I had mana issues a couple of times, even with innervates. But nobody died, so I think I did pretty well. :) And I think it was probably good practise for raid healing. I can't imagine what that instance must be like on heroic though. ><
In other news, Panadoll has finally started the artisan fishing quest. :P Gah I hate this quest so much. It's so boring.. and while I'm fishing I'm always standing there wondering how much gold I could be making if I was spending the time doing dailies. :P It shall be worth it when I can do fishing dailies though. :)

And to finish off this very long entry.. here are a couple of screenshots of Panacea being silly with random people.. ( clicky )

( clicky )

relaxed

Panacea spent a long time yesterday levelling fishing & cooking, following this guide. I neglected fishing and cooking while levelling Panadoll, and now regret it cos I wanna do the dailies and I find myself fishing endlessly for deviate fish in Barrens trying to level my skill. I don't want that to happen with Panacea. There's only so much I can do of the guide at level 30, but I managed to get her fishing to 205 and cooking currently maxed out at 225. I'm gonna leave them both for a bit (fishing here and there while waiting for boats) til I get down to Gadgetzan to do the artisan cooking quest.
I am kinda excited cos I just got a message from a friend saying that they would be "in for the World of Warcraft thing" meaning, they are gonna let me recruit them as a friend. :D Zhevra mount shall be mine! 8D

I has.. ( hello kitty buttons! )
I'm really liking my UI now.. it's uncomplicated and uncluttered, and I've become really familiar with all my keybindings. Eventually I suppose I might add things to it when I raid more.. but for now everything is working really well for me. :)
As you can see from the screenshot.. I finally got Yuge (and a couple of other people) to help me with the final couple of quests to unlock Ogri'la dailies (and the Skyguard dailies up there). One of my big goals at the moment is to get a netherray mount. :3 So I am pleased to finally be getting some more daily Skyguard rep (I am only about halfway through friendly with them at the moment :P).
I'm also getting closer to my next primal mooncloth piece (Primal Mooncloth Shoulders). I've already learnt the pattern, now I just need to collect the mats (damn you mooncloth cooldown :P). I hate farming primal life so much, lol.
My brother, who rolled a nelf resto druid called Hannika on my server to play with me (and who is a much better WoW player than me, with many 70's on different servers) told me earlier tonight that his heals are almost at 1600. :O He levelled at the same time as me and I can't believe how quickly he's overtaken me.. my heals are only at 1062 at the moment. :( I really need that primal mooncloth set.. and better gear in general. It doesn't help that my guild is far too advanced to bother coming with me to the instances and things I wanna do :P At least I has Yuge. :)
