What a fun, random day of WoW. :D I logged on just before midday today, and went straight to Dire Maul to farm Steamwheedle rep. Halfway through the first run, a random level 15 nelf rogue whispered me & said "Hi".
Panadoll: hello
Kered: what are you up to
Panadoll: farming rep
Kered: still doing the Insane achievement?
Panadoll: yeh.. who are you btw? lol
Kered: What's Kered backwards?
Panadoll: derek??
It was a friend I've known for several years now, who has always hated WoW with a passion. xD Apparently he has decided to play. :D He came to visit me last weekend - I hadn't seen him in ages - and I talked about WoW a lot. >< Maybe it was that. ^_^
So I stopped farming and went to run him through deadmines. Then I logged over to my rogue (Miuu, around level 17) and quested with him a bit. Was fun. :D
Thisevening I when I logged on I was invited to Ulduar sitout, so no Dire Maul runs.. and I didn't feel like farming Ravenholdt again. So I logged over to my rogue & Yuge ran me & Kered through BFD (on his dk Broodling). I'm getting sick of the rogue though. The only reason I rolled her was because, for the Insane achievement, the only way you can get from revered to exalted rep is by handing in Heavy Junkboxes, which need to be farmed by a rogue. But yeh, I'm not really enjoying questing because I've done these quests so many times before. :<
Anyways, I logged back over to Panadoll. The Ulduar raid broke up shortly after - I think it reformed a little later, but by the time it did I had already agreed to go to AQ20 with Death. She and Pelor have been farming Cenarion rep lately. AQ20 was pretty fun. :D I did very little healing, just lots of shield spamming. We decided to go to AQ40 after that, where I got a Red Qiraji Battle Tank! and Why? Because It's Red :D We didn't do much of AQ40 because we really didn't have enough people. But it was pretty fun anyway. :)
During AQ I asked my friend who was there, Tekno (80 rogue) if he would be interested in earning 1000g. I explained to him about the Ravenholdt rep.. seriously I would be willing to pay 1000g for a rogue to farm those boxes for me, it would be quicker for me to make back the money than it would be to level my own rogue to farm them. He said that because he's on his other account a lot these days, I was welcome to log onto Tekno myself and farm the boxes, and not have to spend any monies. Awesome! :D
Still later in the evening I offered to run Kered through SFK. He didn't have any flightpaths apart from Stormwind & Westfall. >< So we went on a very long adventure running from Ironforge to Silverpine Forest. I wish I had a passenger mount. :-/ SFK was pretty fun though.. I've done the instance on lowbie horde toons on other servers, ages ago, but had never done it on Panadoll. So I got an achievement for that too. :D
so tired! sleep time. :P

I went to 10man Ulduar with Twelve tonight. We were just clearing up to the keepers for the leet hardmode group to finish off tomorrow. All good with me, I don't mind getting saved.. haven't even done 10man for weeks.
As soon as I accepted the invite I went to adjust my UI for raid & realised I hadn't tested it with a vehicle yet. o_o I've had problems with vehicle bars not showing up in the past. So I ran to Icecrown and jumped on one of the harpoon guns. Badness. No harpoon abilities on my bars. However the abilities worked when I pressed number keys.
So I flew over to Ulduar, thinking "oh god please put me on something easy". I'd driven all the vehicles, and had been a demolisher gunner in the past. So I know what abilities are there, it was just a matter of remembering which went to which key.. mostly I was just hoping I wouldn't have to do anything complicated like loading myself up to be shot to the boss or anything (which I've only done once before). Luckily I was given the very easy job of siege gunner, which is the only one I hadn't done before. It was easy enough to figure out where my abilities were with some experimentation.
We got Leviathan down after a couple of wipes (left some towers up). Then continued to Razorscale. It was here that I decided that I fucken hate Grid. I don't know if it was just the way I had it set up, but not being able to see my bubbles/renews/PoMs etc on peoples' bars was incredibly annoying, also those tiny little boxes? No thankyou. I switched back to HealBot after the fight.
Overall I was pretty disappointed with my heals. I just didn't get into that smooth healing zone, I was a bit all over the place and my cooldowns felt slightly off or something. Could either be the new UI, the brand new computer I'm using that I haven't raided on before, the fact that I haven't raided in a while, the fact that I was raiding with Twelve, or the cold I have that is making me feel like my head's stuffed with cotton wool - I don't know. :P In any case I need to stop watching heal metres when I'm disc. Or get that recount addon that shows disc contributions.
It was interesting, seeing the little differences between Twelve's strats and TF's strats. Some of the strategies we used were in order to go for achievements (of which I got a few :D). Kiting Kologarn's eyebeams was.. an experience (never did that with TF). lol :P Overall it was a pretty fun raid. :) Now I must go tweak my UI some more (i.e. get rid of Grid & replace it with Pitbull raidframes).

The last two nights, I've been on Ulduar sitout. Earning dkp & still able to grind rep for my crazy Insane achievement? Awesome. I can't grind Steamwheedle rep, because I can't reset Dire Maul due to being in the Ulduar raid group. But I've been farming heaps of Ravenholdt rep - got 6000 rep through to Honored last night, and 3000 more rep today. I've got my rep route through Stromgarde Keep, I know where every mob spawns, it's just a matter of putting myself on autorun & chucking SW:P on everything I see. Although I only get 5 rep per mob, the mobs are only around level 35, so they go down in a couple of seconds. I get interrupted sometimes. Lowbies are questing in the area & get pissed off when I run past & take down all their mobs. Today a rogue & a lock, both around level 35, tried taking me down - the lock feared me, and the rogue stunlocked me. I got pissed off at the interruption and raped their fases, then camped them for about 15min. :P
Tonight I actually got called into Ulduar for Mimiron. Earlier today I'd revamped my UI completely, I went from this to this. Very different, and making much use of invisible bars. I also finally decided to switch from HealBot to Grid + Clique. But because I haven't ever used Grid + Clique before, I was way too nervous to use it when I was called in.. so I used HealBot. When I switched UIs, I had to redo all my HealBot binds, and I think I mistyped Prayer of Healing, because when I tried to use it, it didn't work. Also, my bind for Pain Suppression didn't work. The result: I stood there spamming my PS bind when I was supposed to use it, saw nothing was happening, targeted the tank in a panic and manually cast it from one of my (invisible) bars (thank god I actually put it on there). And my heals were atrocious. I am not used to being so bad on that fight. I've always been holy for Mimiron in the past, because awesome raid heals are needed for phase 2, so doing it as disc was.. different. I did survive the entire fight, but that wasn't difficult - I was there for all of TF's progression encounters and a billion times after that, so I know the fight pretty damn well. Just.. heals were bad. When I realised my Prayer of Healing wasn't working I was kinda like "ugh" and just tried shield spamming and casting lots of PoMs and Renews. My Divine Hymn got interrupted dammit. :P
Anyways. I'd been waiting to get a chance to show Twelve that I'm not the nub I was when I was last in the guild. Hopefully the fact that I didn't die on Mimi indicated something of that at least. I was so nervous though, lol. :P And, I didn't really know who my heal target was, I mean there were two holy pallies there I think so I guess I was raid heals. Raid healing as disc: a great way to show the guild my potential lolol. Should have gone holy, but it all happened so fast after I was summoned in. I was slightly disappointed that I didn't get to go on with them to Thorim, because I think I shine as disc on that fight - shield spam ftw in the arena. :D But really I'm just happy that they let me come in for something. ^_^
Note to self for next time I'm called in: Make your damn raid stuffs bar visible without mousing over. Said bar has my Divine Hymn macro, pots, shadowfiend, Desperate Prayer & other useful things.
Current progress on Insane:
Bloodsail Buccaneers: Honored (done)
Steamwheedle Cartel
Booty Bay: 9550/36000 Hated
Gadgetzan: 9425/36000 Hated (this is less than the others cos I stupidly killed some guards in Gadget when I stupidly tried to use the flight path)
Ratchet: 9550/36000 Hated
Winterspring: 9550/36000 Hated
Shen'drelar: 2500/3000 Neutral
Ravenholdt: 3040/12000 Honored
Darkmoon Faire: 75/3000 Neutral

So I left Sanguinary, and went back to Twelve. I'm really, really happy to be back. Even if I'm not raiding, there's something comfortable about being in a well respected guild. There's no room for me in the 25man Ulduar group, but more often than not I can't make Twelve's 7pm raid time these days anyway. However tonight I got put on sitout (earning dkp apparently), which was awesome. :D Hopefully I might get a chance to go to a 10man run soon, I think they do them over the weekends & since I don't have my daughter to look after on weekends, I can actually make raid time.
Meanwhile, after spending much time levelling Dollfase & Zkay, I got a bit burnt out on levelling & decided to go do the Midsummer achievements on Panadoll. I got Flame Warden, the first event title I've gotten (I'm usually too lazy to do the event achievements :P). While I was running around grabbing flames I also finished off the Explorer achievement, and started thinking about other achievements I might like to do. Eventually Panadoll & Tkay went to kill goblins in Booty Bay for the Bloodsail achievement. :D It didn't take very long at all - mostly due to Tkay being able to round up practically the whole town. I mostly just healed him. :P Anyways while we were doing that, I started thinking about the Insane achievement.. I've decided to go for it. xD The day after we did the Bloodsail thing, I went back to Booty Bay and got my rep up to honored. It took me longer by myself, as I mostly just single targeted the goblins, but it wasn't a terrible grind.
So for this achievement, I need: Honored with Bloodsail, Exalted with all Steamwheedle Cartel (Gadgetzan, Ratchet, Booty Bay & Winterspring), Exalted with Shen'drelar, Exalted with Ravenholdt, and Exalted with Darkmoon Faire. I'm working on Steamwheedle, Shen'drelar and Ravenholdt at the same time. I've been running Dire Maul north (had to get the key first, which gave me some Shen'drelar rep) where there are 2 repeatable quests for Steamwheedle rep, and also librams drop which I can hand in for Shen'drelar rep. I've also been to Arathi today to kill all the Syndicate mobs in Stromgarde for Ravenholdt rep. They're just 5 rep each but I just run around chucking SW:P on them all and they drop really fast. Today I farmed 3000 rep to take me to Friendly in just a couple of hours.
So here's my progress with this crazy project so far:
Bloodsail Buccaneers: 50/12000 Honored
Steamwheedle Cartel
Gadgetzan: 1625/36000 Hated
Ratchet: 1625/36000 Hated
Booty Bay: 1625/36000 Hated
Winterspring: 1625/36000 Hated
Shen'drelar: 500/3000 Neutral
Ravenholdt: 115/6000 Friendly
Darkmoon Faire: 75/3000 Neutral
Yeh I have a long way to go, lol. :P I'm enjoying myself so far though.. I actually kinda like farming rep. xD I know it will take me a really long time, and I'll probably get burnt out on it, but then I'll be motivated to play my alts again. :D

So Sanguinary.. isn't really working out. Raids starting at 9pm are definitely good, but ending at 1am.. not so much. I think 8-830 is still my ideal raid start time, with 12 the ideal finish time (or earlier! :D). My daughter has just started school, so I have to get up early Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, which means late night raiding on Sunday/Monday is no good for me anymore. Sanguinary has only been doing Ulduar on Wednesday & Thursday nights, and 25man Naxx on Monday nights, purpose being to gear up people for Ulduar. They are very pushy about people only bringing mains to the Naxx runs so that they can smash through it fast, which didn't end up happening the one time I went (I declined the invite to the one this week, using the excuse of computer issues, which is partly true). I really don't want to be obliged to go to Naxx anyway, I've done it so many times that I hate the place (apart from Heigan, which is always fun :P) and I'm not gonna get any upgrades from there.
Also.. the Ulduar raids with Sanguinary are painful. Horribly painful. I joined the guild thinking that I would be the only disc priest & was looking forward to a refreshing absence of holy pallies. So I was slightly horrified when I turned up for my second raid with them and saw three holy pallies and another disc priest in the raid group. Do these people not understand that holy pallies & disc priests are tank healers & ideally you should only have two of them? I suggested I go holy for the raid, and was told to stay disc. Cue much eyerolling. We proceeded to wipe on XT several times, and I just respecced anyway. Nobody actually noticed until later when somebody posted the heal metre, and the raid leader (or someone, in this particular raid there was nobody really "leading") said "oh, you're holy". >.> I rock that heal metre as holy. xD
I was impressed when we managed to down Auriaya, using a very bad and drawn out strat (only just beat the timer). Auriaya is as far as the guild has gotten through Ulduar. We made several attempts on Thorim, which failed miserably. I asked the other disc priest to help me shield spam in the arena, they ignored me. I tried to give suggestions on what we could do to improve our strategy (for starters, more healers in the tunnel than out in the arena is a terribad idea), I was ignored. This pissed me off. I don't mind being in progression runs, in fact I really enjoy them, but not when I can see that we're doing stuff obviously wrong & when I point it out I'm flatout ignored, and we continue to wipe over & over with the same bad strat.
I had PC issues last week (overheating & switching off in the middle of boss encounters), and hence couldn't raid, which was refreshing. I played around with my alts & had much more fun than I would have had in Raid of Badness. I think I decided then that I want to go a bit more casual for a while. I'd still really like to raid occasionally (I'd love to see a Yogg kill & try some hardmodes) but not so scheduled, and preferably not with bads.
Meanwhile, I'm having so much fun with my alts. Dollfase the mage is currently level 71 and questing in Borean Tundra. She's cute, she looks like a little bee on her yellow & black striped mechanostrider. xD Mages are a pretty powerful class I've found, but a bit boring to level. All I do really is spam frostbolt. :P
Zkay the DK (named after my DK friend from Cabal, Tkay) surprised me by being extremely fun to play. I adore playing her cos she smashes through everything so fast! :D And for once I don't have to run & hide from horde, lol. :P I'm still bad at PvP but at least I have a fighting chance now. ^^; The playstyle is so different from other classes I've played (casters), which makes her more fun & interesting. I kinda wanna tank on her. :D At the moment she's level 70 & in Howling Fjord.
I'm levelling mining & jewelcrafting (both around 350-375 currently) on Zkay. While levelling mining in Nagrand I noticed I was getting a lot of Kurenai rep killing ogres in the caves, and after I finished levelling mining in the area I decided to continue on for a bit & get to exalted. I got Zkay her tan talbuk today. xD On Dollfase I'm doing herbing & alchemy (I've got her herbing up but haven't invested much time in alchemy yet). I spent a huge amount of money levelling Zkay's jc. >.> But hopefully I will eventually turn it into a profitable profession. I made a lot of money levelling inscription on Panacea recently, farming all the mats myself. I'm still saving for Panacea's epic flyer so she can farm herbs faster.. but after the amount I spent on Zkay's jc it's gonna take a while I think. :(
p.s. in other news, I broke up with Damager. We're still friends. :) He's going to take a break from the game I think.. boo. :(

:) He's going to take a break from the game I think.. boo. :(

Wow it's been ages since I updated this journal. I think I stopped updating because I became very busy with raiding with Delusion for a while. Panadoll geared up heaps, became one of Delusion's top healers & priest class leader, and cleared all 10 and 25 man content - with some difficulty, because Delusion was never particularly organised and had a lot of bads. Actually, I don't think Panadoll has actually gotten the 10 man Maly achievement yet. 0_0 (I did eventually work out my problems with third phase Maly btw.) She's pretty much as geared as she can be now & ready for Ulduar, almost full tier 7.5, with the exception of helm, and she looks like this:

Unfortunately, I had a lot of problems with Delusion, and I wasn't the only one. There was heaps of drama, mainly caused by the terrible way the guild was run and the actions of the guild leader and her boyfriend, and after finding out something particularly nasty I finally gquit. Damager - the mage and raid leader of Delusion I mentioned before in this journal and who I'm now in a relationship with <3 - left soon after, throwing the whole guild into turmoil because he was really keeping the whole thing together. Lots of other people also gquit. Damager and I applied to join Twisted Faith, a much more organised & progressed guild on our server. Damager was accepted into the guild almost immediately. It took me a little while longer, because although I was told my guild application was excellent it took a while for the heals leader to find time to talk to me. Finally he asked me to log on to their vent to have a chat. The first question I was asked was, "why disc?" Twisted Faith wasn't actually looking for disc priests, they were looking for holy priests, and they asked me if I'd be willing to respec. I think I managed to convince them to give me a chance to show them what I could do as disc, because I am extremely confident with my heals as disc - raiding with Delusion I was often second or third on heal metres despite my single target healing discness. They seemed to like me anyway and offered me a raiding spot with their guild, which I very happily accepted. Shortly therafter, I was invited to their 25man Naxx as a replacement (usually people in the guild have to sign up in advance for raids). I was very nervous because I wanted to impress them, and I don't think I did too badly. Their healers were much better than Delusion's healers though and although I kept up with them through most of the raid I started losing concentration a bit towards the end and dropped down to 5th overall on the heal metre. I was extremely happy though, to clear 25 Naxx in one night - Delusion only ever managed it over two nights. I also got my tier 7.5 chest out of the run. :)
Today I was logged onto an alt I've been levelling with Damager (and occasionally other friends' alts), a little 20-something mage called Dollfase, when Twisted Faith's raid leader whispered me to ask if I'd be interested in taking my shadowpriest to the guild's 25 Naxx alt run that night. I told him I'd really like to but Panacea is hardly geared for 10man Naxx. He said that he didn't really care about gear, he just wanted someone experienced who could MC on Instructor (which I had successfully done on Panadoll the night before). So I told him I'd give it a go. I think I was even more nervous than I was raiding with them on Panadoll, because Panacea's gear was so bad, not gemmed, not enchanted, no glyphs, and a really bad rotation that I'd been meaning to work on for ages. So I fixed everything I could, worked out a new rotation which I tested extensively on dummies & dueling Damager, and ended up going to the raid semi-confident but still nervous. I actually did far far better than I thought I would - I never actually realised how powerful my aoe (Mind Sear) is. I think I ended up 6th or 7th on dps overall. I really enjoyed myself too - dps is much less stressful than healing (though I will always love healing the best ^_^). Panacea also got three new awesome pieces of gear - Digested Silken Robes from Maexxna, Touch of Horror from Gothik, and Mantle of the Corrupted from Four Horsemen. Panacea now looks like this:

We stopped the run after the DK quarter, because it was 1am and the raid (being an alt run) had gone on for far too long already. We'll be picking it up again tomorrow.. should be fun ^_^ I'm liking gearing up again. :)

So, Malygos.
I'm beginning to really hate this fight. Apart from the fact that I'm not crazy about killing an aspect (/lore nerd) phase three is really starting to annoy me. Phase one & two are fine, I'm in my element, my gear is awesome, I have no problem with heals. In phase three, I know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing (I haven't been healing, I'm just on dps) but I'm beginning to think my setup is just really bad for that phase. I use Bartender, and when the dragon abilites appear, the first is keybound to 1, but 2 is keybound to the third ability (a heal) and the rest aren't keybound at all. So I have to press 1 1 and then click what should be keybound to 2. On top of this I use my mouse to move, so I'm holding down left & right mouse buttons to move around, and pressing spacebar to fly upwards... basically it's a huge clusterfuck every time and it's frustrating me beyond belief. One minute I'm stacked with the group & everything's fine, next minute everyone's moved left and off my screen, Maly isn't even in view and I'm like "fuck fuck fuck which way do I move??" trying to coordinate all these mouse/key movements.. ugh. I guess I just need more practise but damn.. at the moment? It's my abosolute least favourite encounter in the game ever. :(
Anyone have any advice? I plan to do some more reading/video watching on phase 3 as well.

hmm, much better :P Still not great, but better. I went & did all of Panacea's training I'd been neglecting from 70, which helped a lot. :PP I also did some reading and have started trying to pick my upgrades better. My spell rotation I think is ok. I just need to gear up.
Panadoll meanwhile is doing awesome. :D I have almost full t7/7.5 now (except for helm) and my spellpower unbuffed is now over 2k, which I'm very pleased about. I actually recently replaced my t7 robe with Heigan's Putrid Vestments. I didn't actually roll on this robe when it dropped, but nobody else wanted it so it was looted to me for disenchanting. After the raid I had a proper look at it and was like 'o_o this is better than my t7' lol :P So I kept it :D I'm kinda glad to have some hit finally, mostly because there are a couple bosses in 25man Naxx where I need to MC.
Delusion has been attempting 25man Naxx this week. I think it was a good experiment, but I don't think we're quite ready for it. Arachnid went down ok, as did Plague (Heigan was fun as usual but there was a lot of fail there.. I tried to yell at people for not helping to cleanse but my mic decided to fuck up right at that moment -_-). Last night we got Patchwerk down and proceeded to Grobbulus, where several people were just too nub to figure out what they were supposed to do. People got angry and yelled (which was amusing to me at the time & helped me get over my own anger). This kind of fail should not be happening at this point - having to sit there while the fight is explained yet again is so frustratingly tedious. We have told people to read up on strats before they come to Naxx, but I get the feeling some of the dps just expect to be carried through. doesn't work that way! ><
Anyways, there was discussion afterwards with several core members on what to do about the bads. I think we decided in the end not to do anymore 25mans for a while, and instead try two 10man Naxx groups this week. We have enough heals, hopefully enough tanks, and I'm pretty sure we have enough non-retarded dps to fill two groups. I'm actually hoping to get Panacea into the second Naxx group if possible (she's 79 right now, planning to try to get her to 80 today).. obviously her dps will be terribad at first but at least I know all the fights.

Naxx tonight was a little bit fail. We didn't have our full regular core group - we had Xan (hunter, Death's aunty, my friend from Spirits of the Moon) with us, and a DK from the guild who was in Naxx for the first time. We got Arachnid down alright, but then did Construct and wiped on Grobbulus numerous times - many times when he was on under 5%, which was really annoying. I do not like that thing that DKs do which looks a lot like the poison clouds. >< We started a bit late also.. the raid was called at around 11:30pm. Not sure if we'll go back tomorrow, as Kitty has to work in the evening, so we might continue on Monday.
Panacea is level 77 now & has her cold weather flying. I'm enjoying questing in Zul'Drak at the moment, cos I'm up to quests that Panadoll never did. But, Panacea's dps is so crappy. -_- I did a couple of instances (Old K & DTK) with guildies, and my dps was always on the bottom of the metre - above heals but below the damn pally tank.. so embarrassing. -_____- I always topped metres doing heroics on Panacea at 70, so I am not used to this failness..
typical dps in 70 heroics ~

dps now :( (I only overtook that DK right at the end, because he went afk for a bit) ~

I blame crappy Northrend greens. Too much haste, not enough hit & crit. I replaced my FSW robe a while ago and I'm not quite sure if I should have.. maybe I should have kept it for the set bonus. The only reason I still have my shoulders and boots is because the gems make them better than any of the upgrades I've come across. I do want to get rid of them soon though so that I can drop tailoring and pick up herbalism (to go with her inscription) since you can't wear them if you don't have shadoweave tailoring. :-/

We didn't start Naxx tonight until around 9pm, but we still managed to get Arachnid, Construct and the first two bosses of Plague down by 12:30am. Our new core group is doing heaps better.. hardly any wipes, many bosses one-shot, including Gluth and Thaddius, which I'm particularly happy about. :) Several of the people in the raid got progressively drunk over the course of the raid (including myself) so vent was entertaining. :) It was pretty obvious by the time we got to Heigan though that people were feeling a bit worse for wear, and the raid was called, to continue tomorrow night. :)
I frapsed Patchwerk. I've been meaning to fraps more of our boss encounters, but I always forget to turn it on. I'm liking this video cos I kept the vent chatter in it, hopefully that will make it a bit more entertaining. :) Mostly you can hear Death and Damager talking (and Kez, Adam & Kitty [Annethi] a bit). ^_^ I wish I could figure out how to capture my own voice as well, though I only talked once in this fight, when Death asked for people to stop healing her (I told her it wasn't me). All you can hear is the "brp.. brp" noise of my push to talk button. :-/

It's been a pretty fun week. :) There were no raids scheduled til Sunday (today) so I spent a lot of time neglecting dailies completely and working on achievements instead. I got my For The Alliance! achievement and black war bear mount early in the week, in a pug raid over several hours, and also got Wrath of the Alliance at the same time. As I mentioned in my last post I got some PvP achievements on that night I got a bit drunk, and a couple days later I went into AV with Yuge and got Damage Control (we went to a secluded area, and he kept removing his gear - cutting his health by half - and I just healed the crap out of him. :P) I went into WSG after that cos I wanted to get the daily I'd picked up ages ago out of my quest log (just needed the mark of honor). I managed to not just get the mark but also Capture the Flag. Disc priests make good flag carriers!
Mostly though, I've been working on Loremaster. I've got up to about 570/730 Kalimdor quests done so far. But when I passed by the furbolgs in Felwood, I thought "hmm, maybe I'll take a break and work on Diplomat instead!" It took me three days to do it. I started on the furbolg rep, (started from about 3000 through Honored, as I'd already handed in a shitload of beads when I was working on my Frostsaber). That took me the first day. The second day I worked on Kurenai, which took roughly the same amount of time, even though I started from about 2000 through Revered (I had been working on their rep pre-Wrath). And on the third day I did Sporeggar, which was the quickest - I started from about 500 through Revered (while levelling I ground up their rep in order to get a wand from them). Now I have The Diplomat and 10 Exalted Reputations, plus a talbuk and a tiny sporebat. :D Afterwards I flew over to Netherstorm, bought some of the exotic pets, and got Plethora of Pets :DDD
Today I went to a pug 25-man Naxx run (started by Twelvians) which was pretty fail.. I was only there for downing Gluth, and we wiped on Thaddius many times before it was called. Afterwards I went to Delusion's 10-man Naxx. It started in the late afternoon, aiming to clear as much as possible. The run went really, really well. Delusion has been heroic farming all week (personally I only went to one heroic - I don't like them much! I did get an epic upgrade to my wand though :D) and everyone is a lot better. This time I was last of the three healers on the heal metre most of the time (the other two are resto druids) - which is how it should be imo! We don't quite have Naxx on "farm" status yet (except for, perhaps, the Arachnid quarter) but it was still a lot easier, with minimal wipes. We managed to clear Arachnid, Plague and Construct quarters by around 10:30pm. :D Tomorrow we're going back at 7:30 to work on Military, which a lot of the group has not seen before. As such it will probably take us a little longer, but I'm looking forward to it. We might even get up to Sapphi! ^_^
I've decided my favourite boss in Naxx is now Heigan. xD I am loving the Safety Dance, now that I know how to do it. Someone in the raid discovered a "safe area" bug thing though, so I found myself the only one actually doing the dance, while the rest of the raid hid in a corner. >< I've been wanting to fraps Heigan (not sure if I can, cos I lag horribly whenever I try to turn on fraps in that fight for some reason) and make a video putting it to Safety Dance (a song which has been stuck in my head badly lately) but if people are going to cheat and hide in the corner.. bah! lol. We didn't even get the Safety Dance achievement despite their cheating ways.. next time gadget. xD I tried to play Safety Dance on vent when we got there, but it didn't work well.. I just held my mic up to my headphones, and it didn't come through well apparently. :P

I decided to change Panadoll's hair. I don't change it often, as I don't really like the idea of changing her much from how I rolled her - she just wouldn't be Panadoll. :PP I probably won't ever change her facial markings. But yeh, I decided to go back to her original style and a lighter blue (her first colour change). I think it looks pretty cute. :3

guild lately has been.. interesting. I'm slightly nervous it's all going to fall apart, while staying hopeful that the few dedicated members can build it up. There are people not concentrating on strats leading to aggravating wipes, lots of people seeming to be more interested in doing their own thing than getting strong & dedicated raid groups going, I never seem to get into a raid group that has everyone familiar with the bosses (meaning strats have to be agonizingly explained over again & more inevitable wipes), as well as people telling me they wanna leave. At the same time I really love the people in the guild, vent while we raid is so hilarious, and.. er, I don't think I'm going to go into what else about the guild is making me happy & silly atm due to Delusion peoples reading this blog. >< (hai, btw.) Basically the people are great, the organisation leaves much to be desired. I'm not going to gquit, not unless it all falls apart entirely. But I am so nervous that more of the people I've grown attached to will leave. :(
We haven't cleared Naxx since the original core raiders left. Granted, we've only had two chances to fully clear it. It's still bugging me that we don't have enough people - geared enough people - to keep a dedicated group going. The wishy-washyness is bugging me. People turning up late, coming with broken gear, not reading up on strats, or coming without flasks, food, and reagents just isn't acceptable imo. I know lots of people can't raid every night - and I don't want to be a hardcore raider myself, I just wanna clear Naxx again. ;_;

I can now say that I am confident in my ability to survive all the way through Heigan. lol xD Yesterday we wiped on him many times, while everyone got used to the strat, but through all the attempts I kinda worked out my own method of running across the room avoiding the poison (to do with various marks on the floor which I'd grown familiar with, lol) and by our last few attempts I was always making it through alive. I am also very grateful that we had the awesome holy pally Leianna with us to help me dispel diseases. :)
We went on to do Loatheb but stopped it there. New Naxx tomorrow. :D More people gquit recently, but I'm not getting worked up about it. I think we have a good group of dedicated people in the guild now, all of whom are nice/funny (several times in Naxx I had to force myself to stop laughing in order to concentrate xD) and getting friendlier with each other. I feel a bit like I'm witnessing the beginnings of a really successful guild. :)

On Saturday I got into one of Delusion's Naxx raids (there were two groups who ran it in the end, both with a couple of PuGs I think). I have to admit, at first I was a little dubious that we could pull it off, especially when on our first boss encounter, Patchwerk, we wiped several times and couldn't get him down. But we went on to successfully clear the Arachnid Quarter, and things just got better from there. :) Death was in our group, and her dps is surprisingly much, much better - she's really improving a lot. All boss encounters had to be explained because it was most peoples' first time there, but everyone did an awesome job. After clearing Arachnid, the group reformed a bit, and we went on to clear the Construct Quarter up to Thaddius. Today we continued on from there, and although we spent the afternoon and the start of the evening wiping on him, eventually we managed to get him down. I think Thaddius might be my most hated of Naxx bosses, just because whenever there are people who haven't done the fight before, there are always so many wipes until people get used to the strat. >< Anyways after that we started on the Plague Quarter - managed to get the gargoyles and Noth down with just two healers (Noth is such easy healing, lol). We're going to pick it up tomorrow for Heigan etc. Man I hate Heigan. I've only managed to survive the Safety Dance all the way through once. Since I've been the main healer (I topped healing metres by a fair margin during this whole Naxx) I'm a little nervous. I really hope I don't die on it.
I've been a bit more vocal on vent during these raids, just because I'm a lot more confident now in my abilities and my knowledge of the boss strats, but I really hope I didn't come across as arrogant.. lots of wipes make me frustrated, because I've done these bosses before relatively easily. I also do not tolerate idiocy. Like when people called out during fights "heal me!" - dear lord I hate that so much (to be fair, it was PuGs, not guildies who did this). I think I need to be a bit more patient and remember that people aren't as geared and experienced with Naxx fights. It's kind of like progression all over again. I also hope I didn't make an idiot of myself by offering wrong information. Thaddius annoyed me though because I could see we weren't doing it in quite the same way as we successfully did it before, and I felt a little like my suggestions weren't really being taken into account (Damager was acting as raid leader and organising us - he's awesome, but yeh there were a couple of times where I felt like I was talking to a wall, lol). Anyways Thaddius went down in the end, so it's all good. :)
The only thing bugging me right now is Hannika's attitude towards the guild now since those core raiders left. He disappointed me when he told me "the few people who made this guild bearable have left" and then said he planned to just level an alt a bit and take a break from the game. I can understand where he's coming from a bit.. I mean this progression-all-over-again stuff is indeed a bit disheartening. But I really do think that this is the way for the guild to work towards 25-mans. If it was always just that group of core raiders doing 10-man Naxx, we'd never get to the point where we could do heroic Naxx and beyond. I'm kind of hoping he'll get over his qq and raid with us again soon. Cos he is such an awesome healer and I really like raiding with him. :( Maybe if I talk to him irl about it sometime.

I've been having a lazy few days of WoW, not doing dailies much and not raiding.. just levelling fishing and doing fishing achievements mostly. My fishing is maxed out now, and I have the achievement for fishing up all the Dalaran coins (which didn't actually take me all that long). Tonight I also tagged along on a horde cities raid - only got the Undercity and Silvermoon bosses achievements cos I came in at the end. It was fun though. :) Hopefully I can find another raid soon to get Thrall and TB.
I hadn't really been paying that much attention, but Annethi had been talking a lot more in guild chat over the last couple of days, and there was a distinct lack of the people that normally dominate guild chat (a cliquey group, several of them core raiders). It was only just as I was riding with the raid I was in to Silvermoon that Annethi started talking about how about 9 people had gquit the day before. I realised that Dayknight was among them, and Annethi was now the guild leader. Apparently Dayknight had turned up unannounced at Annethi's house, there had been some weirdness/arguments, and Dayknight had subsequently left the guild, taking a whole bunch of people with him - among them most of the core raiders I had been raiding Naxx with (also a holy priest guild princess who I had begun to really dislike). At first when I found out about this I was a bit dismayed.. I mean, I really thought we had a good cohesive raiding group going on and I was looking forward to continuing progression with them. They've apparently formed a new guild called "after the darkness", but there's so few people in it that all they can really do atm is run heroics I guess. However.. Hannika, Skadii (disc/holy priest), and Damager (awesome mage) from the core raiders are still in the guild, and I think Holykip is still in (and away on holiday atm as far as I'm aware). Death of course is still in the guild too, but she's also still away on holiday. There are many 80's in the guild right now, many of whom just need to run heroics to gear up a bit to do Naxx, and quite a few more who were always left out of Naxx in favour of the core raiding group. Annethi seems really enthusiastic about getting the guild geared up, raiding and progressing. So, though I was initially a bit horrified about all the core raiders leaving, I think this situation might work out for the best. The people who left, though I was starting to like a few of them, were so very cliquey and dramariffic.
Annethi has organised a Naxx run for tomorrow night. She invited every 80 in the guild - three healers accepted invites before I got a chance to, so my status is just "accepted" not "confirmed". This makes me a bit anxious. I was really enjoying being a core raider, and I'd really like to get a chance to prove myself capable of having a regular raiding spot. With the sheer number of people accepting invites though, there might even be enough for a second group. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. At least I'm finding it easier now to talk in gchat with all the cliquey people gone.

Over Christmas I took a little break from WoW, which was kind of refreshing. I got Animal Crossing for my DS, which I've been playing a lot, but since it's designed to be played with other people who also have it, there's only so much I can do with it. It's fun & relaxing, anyways. :)
Tonight I planned to have a relaxing evening of just catching up on dailies and maybe completing some more Winter Veil achievements. Got my first Dalaran Cooking Award :D and did a bunch of other dailies, but I also went along to an impromtu guild Ob Sanctum, and later to an aquaintance's (hunter Djinn) 10-man VoA. In both I topped healing metres. :O That.. really shouldn't be happening with me as disc. Ideally I think disc priests should be last on healing metres (since - as I know I've said a billion times - disc focus is on damage prevention). But both runs went well regardless. My spellpower is a lot better these days.
Later on, around 10pm or so, Verd asked me if I wanted to come heal the Construct Quarter of 25-man Naxx. Leth had asked me earlier if I wanted to come to 25-man Naxx and I'd declined, due to wanting a relaxing night off. I joined Verd's group anyways (thinking it was just one quarter, how long could it take?), and realised it was the group Leth was in also. Apparently they're both in the same guild now, Gamers Council. It was a guild run with a few PuGs - one from Twelve, and another from Tsunami (top guild on our server) and a couple others from other high-end guilds.
I hopped on the Gamers Council vent and over the course of the run found out a bit about the type of people they are. They reminded me a bit of Twelve, but a bit more - if that is possible lol - immature. :P I only spoke on vent once, and that caused a bit of a commotion when they realised there was a girl in their raid. >< Anyways the run went... alright. Lots of people in the raid weren't even familiar with 10-man Naxx, so the boss strats all had to be explained in detail.. there were wipes. Many wipes. But we got up to Thaddius in the end. We did the worst on Thaddius - people just couldn't get their heads around the strat, or something, and after a few wipes the run was called because it was just too late at night (it was almost 2am by this time). They're picking it up again tomorrow - Thaddius, Sapphiron and KT. I'm hoping to get in for the remainder, if they don't start too early for me.
Leth and Verd were whispering me a lot during the run. Leth wants me to join Gamers Council, he reckons he can get me in no problem. It's.. really tempting. I mean, I really want to do 25-mans, and I have no idea when Delusion will start doing them (they won't even resume 10-mans til the new year). I'm not sure whether I wanna join this kind of guild environment though.. being the only girl in the guild is half errgh and half intriguing, lol >< But at the same time I don't wanna just up and leave Delusion, mostly because my brother and Death are in Delusion and I really would like to raid with them both (it's fun being Team Awesome Heals with Hannika especially ^_^). So.. I think I will put off any decisions til the new year when Delusion raiding resumes and I can find out where I might be heading with the guild in the future. And hopefully in the meantime I can get a few opportunities to do more 25-mans with Gamers Council. :)

It took us four hours. >< (mainly due to crappy druid heals we had at first - they were only just above the pally tank in heals o_O) But we finally got this guy down tonight!
Fight frapsed by boomkin Mayple. lol, I'm actually in a lot of this vid. xD I'm standing around in the middle of the circle at the start.. I was on main tank heals so for most of the rest of the video I'm at the left of the screen, standing just in front of the circle. Lols at sped-up penance.. fashfashfash! xD

(in case you can't tell, I'm standing 7th from the left - or technically 3rd from the right :P)

We've had a really good run of Naxx over the last couple of days, culminating in our downing of Sapphiron - an awesome effort on everyone's part, as the main tank Raltor d/c'd with Sapphi around just under 10%. o_o He didn't get the achievement, which sucked. But he did get the key that dropped when he came back on to distribute loot. We plan to finish off Kel'Thuzad tomorrow. :)
I got many good things! ^_^ Resurgent Phantom Bindings from Gothik, a chest from Four Horsemen which I should never have rolled for (it had hit rating, should have gone to the lock), Ring of Holy Cleansing from Heigan, Agonal Sash from Anub'Rekan (upgrade over the epic belt I got last time), and best loots of all: Infection Repulser from Grobbulus (this mace looks so cool ^_^), and my first piece of T7, Chestguard of the Lost Conqueror from Gluth - with which I bought Heroes' Robe of Faith :D Hm, I think I did pretty well xD
